Reel Lives
Reel Lives is a project we created with Trekforce, the gap year charity dedicated to conservation, education and expeditions which is focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility. We are combining the media impact of SUBtv’s coverage of the student market with the corporate social responsibility credentials of Trekforce to provide a competition for film, photography and journalism students.
We are looking for a sponsor to send ten young people away annually to work on environmental projects in Guyana, Borneo and Belize. The winning students will cover their experiences by creating a short film, photographs or written accounts. Content will be produced on SUBtv throughout the year as an individual programming strand and credited to the sponsor. There will be web coverage and all Trekforce promotional material aimed at the gap year market will feature the sponsor prominently.
The Reel Lives brief is open for input from the sponsor in order that all participants can gain maximum benefits.
We are looking to give gap year students a fantastic opportunity for work experience. Sponsors will be able to build a relationship with young talented people throughout the project, generating material of their choice that can be used on their return.
